Musical Adventures
CAP’N MIKE & THE KING TIDE
Featuring Cap'n Mike on guitar and Big Dave on drums with Paul Olguin on bass. Celebrating the seminal sounds of rock 'n' roll music influenced by guitarist Link Wray and his 1958 groundbreaking instrumental "Rumble," one of the first tunes to use the power chord....the "major modus operandi of the modern rock guitarist." When the amps are blazing, the moon is full, and the surf is up, it's time for Cap'n Mike & the King Tide.
RIPPED CREAM
Musical trio paying homage to the late great sixties rock group Cream that featured Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton. Other delights delve into Coltrane, Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, and more. Psychedelic blues and jazz excursions.
JOHN CIPOLLINA
The following is a conversation with legendary guitarist John Cipollina of Quicksilver Messenger Service in the infamous Haight-Ashbury home of my good friends Joanie Levin and photographer Alan Blaustein, in San Francisco, California, USA, on June 30, 1985 at 2 AM, PDT.
I had the pleasure of knowing John Cipollina during his last years while I was living in San Francisco. We always had a mutual affinity for 1950's pioneer guitar legend Link Wray. MORE

Radio Tombstone
The Music and Sounds of the Wild West
Programmed by Big Dave, Radio Tombstone was an inspiration after a visit to the historic town of Tombstone, Arizona with his pal Cap’n Mike. Conjuring up the spirits of this lawless town, the idea sprung for a radio station emanating out of the old historic Ice House in Tombstone, playing a great mix of music in that Old West spirit. Grab a strong cup of coffee or do as Doc Holliday did, drink a couple of shots of Old Overholt rye whiskey and take a wild ride in the desert sun. HIT SHUFFLE AND PLAY.
